The Curse of the Dark Hollow

While Mike Laub and Joel Moats were out beating up on the West Coast riders, Sally McClain and Mike Funk enjoyed racing on some good ole East Coast gnarly single track at the Michaux Forest. The Curse of the Dark Hollow is the second race in the Michaux Endurance Series. It's the kind of race that almost certainly will take a toll on you one way or another. Unfortunately for Mike Funk a stick took out his derailleur and ended his 40 mile race 36 miles short. Sally managed to escape any curses in the hollow and rode consistent and strong to accomplish 2nd place. The third race in this series is the Terror of Teaberry on Sept. 20th. Look for Mike Funk to take out his revenge.
